Beko CF1300APW Chest Freezer - White

Store it in your garage. Beko's chest freezer can be kept in any room where temperatures drop to as low as -15°C, which is something most chest freezers can’t do. That means it's perfect for keeping in a garage or outhouse. There’s a large 374 litres to stock up on frozen food, and with a 4 star freezer rating, it will keep for up to 12 months. There are 3 baskets that you can slide along to fit around your food and remove them too, making it easy to fill. It’s A+ rated too, so will only cost an average of £4 a month to run night and day.

Product Reviews

Suitable for garage in winter

Customer Rating:

Great Value Freezer

"I love this product! I have a larger chest freezer but this one seems to hold almost the same amount. The older one has a bigger motor and thicker walls, but this one has a better insulation rating. I guess improved materials. And it shows in the running, with only short periods "on" to keep everything perfectly frozen. It is surprisingly light for its size, with castors for easy movement.

When you receive it, cleaning the inside is a must since it has a strong "chemically" type smell. I used warm water with bicarbonate of soda and vinegar. Follow up with plain water. I then let it stand (with the lid open) for 24 hours to make sure the compressor oil had settled back in place, before switching on. Some people say new freezers don't need to stand this long, but I say better safe than sorry.

I am very happy with this freezer and can recommend without hesitation. "

Good value, lots of space.

"I needed a bigger freezer and only had a garage to place it so opted for this one due to the price. Lovely amount of space inside. The 3 baskets at the top and the internal light are a great help. The lid is light and easy to lift.

So far so good! "

Good but

"Really good chest freezer, runs quietly and freezes food quickly and efficiently. The baskets are helpful to keep items handy. The only down side is the large compartment means items can get lost and forgotten about and it’s tricky to organise your items. An option to add a divider or something else might help. We keep ours in the garage. No issues with condensation and keeping it frost free isn’t a problem. It’s not the cheapest but it’s good value"
