Hotpoint Ultima HUI612P Electric Cooker - White

4.8 / 5 (54 reviews)

Cooks your food safely and quickly. The Hotpoint HUI612P lets you heat food on the induction hob and cook meals from scratch in the dual oven. Use any of the 4 induction zones on top of the hob to directly heat the pan. This gives you a safer and quicker heat – up to 60% faster than a ceramic hob. The dual oven has a combined capacity of 110 litres so you can get the starter, main, sides and the pud cooked at the same time. Plus, it’s really easy to keep clean with the catalytic liners that absorb grease and grime.

Product Reviews

A bargain intro to induction cooking

"Great Price for an Induction cooker. Sleek minimalistic design with touch controls for the hob. Would recommend as a great value product if thinking of switching to induction cooking. Only thing I would advise is to check if your existing pans will work as I had to replace most however you can get good deals on them as some brands charge extortionate amounts. As for the hob it’s refreshing to be able to cook like gas with the convenience of electric."

Our first induction cooker

"Probably not as well constructed or durable as our 22 year old AEG cooker. Nevertheless it is not bad. The doors and front frame are fairly solid. Buffers at back allow an air gap for rear ventilation. The induction hob is easy to use, but one needs to be more disciplined with what you can and cannot do compared with a normal electric hob. We elected to buy an induction hob converter so we didn’t have to replace all our saucepans and frying pans. Burners are 21 and 15cm diameter. Ovens are conventional. Grill pan handle is a bit noisy because of metal to metal contact. All the feet are adjustable which is good if floor is not level. For some reason ceramic hob seems to get a bit smeary quite quickly, but is easy to clean with Hob Brite. Control knobs are in sensible position. Colour is white which is difficult to find at present. Price was reasonable."

Hotpoint Induction Hob

"First time having an induction cooker. The induction hob is very effective, heats up very quickly. The oven cooks your food evenly at the recommended temperature. However, condensation seems to be a problem as it leaves a puddle at the bottom of the oven door. Maybe this is natural for the cooker to do this. If this persists, I will need to report it. Otherwise it looks great and is easy to use. Overall, I am delighted with my new cooker. F"

Just brilliant

"I’m really pleased we decided to go with this cooker, it’s simple to use and keep clean, it’s an induction hob so a nice new set of saucepans were required, but it’s so easy to use and the boost function on the two big rings is great! A pan of cold tap water to a good rolling boil is around 90 seconds! About the same as an electric kettle, the delivery guys are very friendly and helpful the electrician did his job brilliantly, disconnected the old one, tested the wiring and breaker, wired up the new one, levelled it all up and job done, No mess and all the packing and old cooker taken away, very happy. Hotpoint induction cooker

"Disappointed with this cooker. Both ovens excellent with temperature true to display but induction hob a disappointment . Slow to respond to touch and very slow to reduce temperature from boiling to zero. When I used my whistling kettle it was dreadful."
